Teaching Osteopathy
Proprietor Gary Lutz qualified from Maidstone School of Osteopathy ( founder John Wernham). in 1988 and opened his osteopathic practice the same year. Gary’s practice was originally the front room of his City Way home with the waiting area in the hall way. As well as training at Maidstone School of Osteopathy Gary also taught there between 1993 and 1999 until the osteopathy school closed, following the move to NESCOT (which became SION)
With many of the osteopaths in Kent trained locally, osteopathy in the Maidstone Clinic gave Gary six years of running a student clinic, six years of teaching final year students their techniques, a year of teaching third year neurology, as well as his own five years as a full time student followed by two years part time training.
Following his teaching experience Gary has continued across the years helping develop newly graduated osteopaths such as Ben Entacott who graduated from British School of Osteopathy (BSO), as well as opening his practice for students to complete the training for a Diploma in Manipulation backed by the Association of Osteomyologists. Gary was originally a Fellow of the Association of Osteomologists which was founded Sir Alan Clemens.
